Hello! I am Maria Elena Villapol, a very proud Venezuelan, who lives in beautiful New Zealand. I have been teaching at the University level for a long time but mainly in my loved Universidad Central de Venezuela. During my long academic career, I have had the opportunity to teach many students who, I hope, have learned as much as I have learned from them. When I was a little child, I used to write short stories and even poems  then as a University researcher I became a technical writer. So you can find some of my technical articles in the big Internet repository, for example by searching on Google Scholar. I am very lucky to have had the opportunity to write them with some of my wonderful colleagues. But now I want to write to everyone who wants to visit my blog.

I want to dedicate this blog to my mother who was my fan, read all my stories and kept them safe. Thanks, Alecia!!!
